The Nickel Ride Hires Chief Sales Officer to Manage Rapid Sales Growth and Business Community Relations

The Nickel Ride, an innovative and eco-friendly transportation service that connects your community with local commerce, today announced the appointment of Matthew Scanio to the newly created role of Chief Sales Officer and Director of Business Community Relations. He will be responsible for The Nickel Ride’s national and global sales efforts as well as managing the business relationships with the communities The Nickel Ride serves. Matthew reports to the CEO and Founder, Judah Longgrear, as a member of the executive team.

Having proven his capabilities at several prominent organizations in Boston, MA and Fort Myers, FL, Matthew will now oversee the company’s sales and business community strategies to capitalize on new sales opportunities, drive revenue growth, and strengthen The Nickel Ride’s relationships within the business communities it partners with. He brings seven years of impressive sales leadership experience and a proven track record of building highly successful sales strategies that genuinely yield results.

Matthew was previously the Business Development Specialist at The Hackett Group, an intellectual property-based strategic consultancy and leading enterprise benchmarking and best practices digital transformation firm to global companies, where he was responsible for the entire North America region and focused on strategic areas such as, cultivating new accounts, overseeing national campaigns to increase revenue growth, and managing relationships with key company accounts to ensure long-term retention.

In his seven years in sales, he quickly gained the reputation of a professional that stands out from his peers most notably because of his dedication to providing nothing short of excellence when it comes to meeting the needs of his customers. His primary goal is never to just land the deal, but rather to land the person because he recognizes the value in building truly authentic relationships with his customer, so both parties benefit equally.
