The Nickel Ride Hosts Ribbon Cutting & Launch Party at Ferg’s Sports Bar & Grill to Meet and Greet Local Community Members

August 3, 2018

Press Release

The Nickel Ride, an innovative and eco-friendly transportation service that connects your community with local businesses, today announced its scheduled event, The Nickel Ride St. Pete Ribbon Cutting & Launch Party, with local advertising partner, Ferg’s Sports Bar & Grill, to meet with the local community members as the company prepares for the launch of its fourth city, St. Petersburg, Florida. St. Pete, the second-largest city in the Tampa Bay Area, is popular for golfing, boating, fishing, and beachgoing. Its waterfront parks host the Dali Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts, and Mahaffey Theater. Just one visit will confirm why it earned the nickname, “Sunshine City.”

In just under a year, The Nickel Ride has already expanded to four cities in Southwest Florida, with many more lined up throughout the remainder of the year. The company has experienced significant growth in such a short period due to its unique approach of partnering with local governments to maximize the benefits that the free and innovative transportation service provides the local community members, businesses, and tourist.

The Nickel Ride team is looking forward to The Nickel Ride St. Pete Ribbon Cutting & Launch Party because it offers a chance for the local community members to ask questions about their new free transportation service. “My team and I appreciate these launch parties because it gives us the opportunity to mingle with the future riders of The Nickel Ride and experience their excitement first hand,” said Judah Longgrear, CEO, and Founder of The Nickel Ride. “The launch party is a necessary step each time we enter a new location because the event allows us to connect with our ridership and business audiences in a more personal way. We all live in today’s digital world, but there will always be something special about meeting people face to face and engaging with the communities we serve. After all, that’s what The Nickel Ride is all about – the community.
